Training of Master Trainers on Viral Hepatitis Screening, Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment and Control and visit to National Cancer Center (Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia)
Dr. Tomoyuki Hayashi and Dr. Takeshi Terashima were participated in “Training of Master Trainers on Viral Hepatitis Screening, Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment and Control” held at Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia as trainers.
Overall 50 participants attended the 4-day workshop from all over Mongolia, and Dr. Hayashi and Dr. Terashima lectured about HCV and HBV over a half of the day. There were some informative questions or advices, and we could discuss actively to foster our understandings.
In addition, we visited National Cancer Center of Mongolia, which is the largest facility to conduct many kinds of cancer in the country. We evaluated current situation of state-of-the-art treatment there so as to provided technical support for them as Japanese liver professionals.
