We organized the series of clinical-public health webinars focusing on the Pacific island countries on liver cancer and viral hepatitis as a WHO Collaborating Center for viral hepatitis and liver cancer for the Western Pacific. The webinar series were targeted the importance of early detection of liver cirrhosis and cancer. It was the second series of 3 webinars. Dr. Takata presented that prevention and treatment of chronic liver diseases such as viral hepatitis are important to prevent death from liver cancer and that people in the high-risk group for liver cancer, such as those with viral hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, need to undergo appropriate monitoring and treatment. Approximately 50 attendee were participated.
