Activity Report and Latest Information

We organized the series of clinical-public health webinars focusing on the Pacific island countries on liver cancer and viral hepatitis as a WHO Collaborating Center for viral hepatitis and liver cancer for the Western Pacific. The webinar series were targeted the importance of early detection of liver cirrhosis and cancer. It was the last series of 3 webinars. Dr. Shimakami presented that evaluating patients with HBsAg positive, treatment targets, antivirals, need for continued treatment, proper monitoring, strategies for mother-to-child transmission.
